UNIZIK Business School Doctorate students on a Study Trip to Kigali, Rwanda where they visited the African Leadership University, Geurilla Coffee Factory, the largest producer of coffee in East Africa and largest exporter of coffee in Africa and Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre.
The Unizik Business School Doctoral Students visited ISCAE, Morroco ,one of the top Business Schools in Africa and the students interacted with top Business Executives for business opportunities.
The Morroco visit also includes the visit to the business model of Knauf Automotive Industries, Tanger , Morroco and one of the largest producers of automotive parts in Africa.
5-day UK workshop which included activities such as a Training Session, Academic visit to Nottingham Trent University facilities and Industry Visits to V-Lab, Rolls Royce and the Royal Academy of Engineering. The UK workshop was coordinated by UK partner Prof. Amin Al-Habaibeh, Director of Product Innovation Center (PIC) and Head of iSBET Research Group at Nottingham Trent University. It was a very rich experience for the seven participants from the hub and spoke universities and industry partners: UNIZIK Business School, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (4), Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (1) and Fedironics (2), allowing them to make new business and academic connections. The exchange of knowledge and learning experience was on another level and are leading to business opportunities for parties involved.
As the Project team Lead of the Highet Education Partnership in Sub-Saharan Africa 22/24, established and Funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering United Kingdom, Prof. Chinedu Onyeizugbe was part of the Nigerian Team that joined African Scholars at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to brainstorm on certain projects that will enhance Engineering Education and Entrepreneurship. This wad fully sponsored by Royal Academy of Engineering, United Kingdom.
The third lecture for students in the session featured a focus on interactive sessions and comprehensive instruction.
The chairman, 'One Youth, Two Skills' Entrepreneurship Scheme, Prof. Chinedu Onyeizugbe, has lauded the master trainers and trainees in the ongoing skill acquisition initiative of the Anambra State Ministry of Youth Development in collaboration with Unizik Business School (UBS).

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka on Monday, October 16, 2023, in its Business School, started the execution of the second phase of a £100,000 Grant it received from Royal Academy Of Engineering, United Kingdom to research in the area of electrical engineering. The project, titled, "Catalyzing the Employability and Entrepreneurial Impact of Nigerian Graduate Engineers in the Electricity Industry as a Strategic Way to Improve Access to Electricity in Nigeria", was awarded by Higher Education Partnerships in sub-saharan Africa (HEP SSA) 22/24 Programme.
The Vice Chancelor of Unizik granted recognition to a few individuals on April 6, 2024, for their long-term dedication to the university and their deservingness of being inducted into the Unizik Hall of Fame. The director of Unizik Business School, Prof. Chinedu Onyeizugbe, hosted the award ceremony.
The fifth meeting of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University board of directors was presided over by Prof. Charles Esimone, vice chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Prof. Chinedu Onyeizugbe, director of the university's business school, who hosted the meeting in the board room of the business school, was also present.

The workshop programme involved 50 Fouth (4th) year engineering students (from 4 different Universities - UNIZIK (20 students) COOU (10), Federal Polytechnic, Nekede (10), and Abia State Polytechnic (10) to go on 3 to 6 months industrial training with the industrial partner (EEDC). The Workshop was established and funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering United Kingdom.
