PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME
This programme is to equip students to acquire technical, quantitative and concrete skills in applied economics through an understanding of theory and practice to produce skilled manpower with cutting edge knowledge, critical thinking and leadership skills in an ever-changing world. The programme is inspired by the need to fill the gaps faced by developing countries’ unique economic environment as they work to improve the quality of lives of millions of residents in a highly-integrated world.
MSc in Applied Economics provides students with the skills necessary to lead complex projects for micro, small, medium and large-size corporations. The program for UNIZIK Business School focuses on best practices to teach students how to analyze economic problems at the national as well as international level and how to identify the most appropriate policy instruments. In a cordial environment and in close interaction with the UNIZIK Business School, the students will be equipped with both qualitative and quantitative methods and the analytical tools necessary for a successful career as professional economist with a strong policy orientation.
